Focus & Flow

Workshop

A day of strategy & personal development
- Learn how to regulate your nervous system and bring more focus and flow into your work and life.

Next date will be on Friday 24th Jan

Our nervous system impacts everything we do, individually and collectively.

It impacts the way we think, the way we relate and the way we make decisions. It is so easy to get lost or stuck in our heads, repeating the same patterns and stories. In order to do effective strategy and personal development work we need to step out of our everyday routines and really engage with a more embodied and relational process of self-reflection.

Somatic Coaching, Nature Connection & Group Integration

Throughout the day we will be combining self-reflection activities with somatic coaching, nature connection and group discussions. We will all have many opportunities to share our insights and learn from each other's stories and ideas.

Who is this workshop for?

Busy founders and professionals who rarely take the time to step back and reflect on their habits and lifestyle.

Anyone who is facing a transition. Perhaps it is a breakdown of a relationship, the closing of a project or business, a health scare or burn out, a change of job or a relocation where you need to rebuild your sense of home and identity.

Anyone who is feeling stuck or disconnected emotionally from the work you are doing and looking to find more creativity, joy and meaning.

ABOUT THE MASTERCLASS

The best way to bring more focus and flow into your work and life is to pay closer attention to how your nervous system impacts your thoughts, moods and decisions.

In 2023 we launched a self-leadership programme called SOMOS at Selgars Mill, our coliving and nature retreat centre in Devon, UK. Focus & Flow is a one day city masterclass version of this programme, designed to be as actionable and useful as possible.

We will begin with reviewing the fundamentals of how our nervous system impacts our behaviour and demonstrate the different ways that we regulate our physiological state.

The next part is about being honest with yourself about how you are spending your time and managing your energy levels. It is about noticing and breaking bad habits and choices, whilst also designing and implementing better habits and choices into your everyday life.

Focus & Flow is a space for you to reconnect with yourself, reflect on your lifestyle and refine the focus and purpose that is shaping your work and life.

WHO WILL BE FACILITATING?

Anton Chernikov

I am a designer, facilitator and entrepreneur and have been working at the intersection of tech, sustainability and real estate for the past 15 years. I am the founder/owner of House of Transformation, Selgars and SOMOS.

Throughout my life and career I have been researching and experimenting with how to cultivate states of sustained focus and flow. What I have learned is the importance of consistent self-reflection, somatic practices for regulating your nervous system and spending time in nature when making big strategic decisions and processing complex emotional dynamics and situations. The process of inner transformation requires us to get out of our default patterns of thinking and behaviour, and to listen to the wisdom that exists within our emotions, sensations and embodied intuition.
